This looks incredible—I'm now racking my brain for cool things to plug into a timeline just so I can use it!
Great preview Adam. I really like the vision you have with the 3D approach.
How will the video export option work? Will it capture the interactivity /navigation you do or will it simply export the timeline and show each event for n seconds?
I plan on downloading the demo on the 12th to check it out.
I would also like to add some features to the wish-list for future updates:
1.) greater control of the dates displayed. I have several cases where the dates are very tight when displayed and they almost touch. Would like to see the date maybe on two lines where the month is on top and the year appears directly underneath on a second line. Other option would be to display Month or Day and then have the year displayed once underneath for the span of the whole year.
2.) Ability to add title / text on timeline. I now export to Photoshop or Keynote to add title and image type elements. Would be nice if you could add text anywhere on the timeline and also insert images via a photo browser such as in Keynote. Would save me a step. ;-)

Its looks great, although its the 12th here in the UK, I guess I will have to wait a few more hours for the USA to catch us up :-)

how to upgrade? there is no option?!

To upgrade:
1. Download and install the 3D Edition.
2. Confirm that your existing license is entered in the Registration Panel (should transfer automatically)
3. In the Registration Panel, click the "Upgrade to 3D" button.
4. The upgrade will cost $25
Alternatively, you will be offered an opportunity to upgrade if your standard license is installed and you attempt to use a 3D feature that is restricted (such as export to Devices).

I was looking for an application that would easily build me timelines. I would like to include timelines in my Ph D research and think that your software is the one! It looks great, truly!
But… is it possible to create suitable timelines to be read on paper?

Yes, Bee Docs' Timeline can print 2D timelines to paper. Please note that timelines that are compact enough to print on one page will have the best results.

This was cool! As a consultant I recently was working with a non-profit and we were using the "Old post a note paper" to create a time line. Maybe next year we will have pictures and other graphics to add and make a professional document using your material. This would be great to use with Keynote to Present to the board next year.

Adam, this is super for my work (I do legal nurse consulting). I draw clock faces for my timelines in minute or hourly intervals. Is there a way to automate these in your program; it would be a great visual for our juries. By the way, I lived on the Issaquah Plateau for 24 yrs, now in Bakersfield. Miss it
